Why your "quiet life" is louder than you think
Hello friend,
Do you ever feel like your words are hitting a brick wall? Many of us worry that we are not “holy” enough or clever enough to help others find their way to God. We think we need to give long lectures or have perfect answers.
But the story of Jochebed, the mother of Moses, tells us something different. She did not have a church or a school. She just lived a quiet, steady life of trust. Because of her, Moses did not just hear about God - he “caught” a faith that stayed with him even in a royal palace.
I call this “ambient discipleship”. It is the background noise of our lives. It is talking about God’s kindness while we do the washing up or drive to the shops.
If you feel like your quiet life is invisible, please know that your efforts matter. God sees your faithfulness in the messy bits of life.
