When You Feel Like a Nobody
My dear friends.
Have you ever felt like a nobody? Perhaps you have walked into a room - or even your own home - and felt completely unseen. You are not alone in that feeling. Research shows that most people around us carry a quiet ache. They feel like no one really knows them or that they do not quite belong.
But there is a beautiful truth in the Bible. God has a habit of doing his most significant work through the people the world overlooks.
This week, we are starting a new seven - day devotional series called “Her Story, His Glory.” We will look at the life of Jochebed. She was a Hebrew slave woman who had no status and no voice. To the empire of Egypt, she was a nobody. Yet, through her quiet and faithful love, she changed the course of history.
Over the next seven days, we will explore how her faith in impossible times teaches us to trust god’s protection. We will see how faith is “caught” in the ordinary moments of home life.
Whether you are a parent, a neighbour, or a friend, god has a purpose for you. He sees you, he knows you, and he values you.
I invite you to join us on this journey. Let us discover together how our quiet faithfulness can bring glory to god.
God bless you.
