When obedience costs you
Have you ever made the right call, trusted God, and then watched it all fall apart anyway?
It is a “gap” that many of us live in - the space between our obedience and the outcome we expected. In today’s video devotional, we look at why God promises vindication rather than an explanation.
We often think faithfulness guarantees a certain result. But the Bible suggests that faithfulness guarantees something much better: God’s attention.
Three things to remember today:
God’s word never returns empty. Your prayers and acts of kindness are seeds that God will not waste.
Timing is layered. What feels like a delay is often God preparing things behind the scenes in ways you cannot yet see.
Lament is trust. You do not have to tidy up your feelings for God. Honesty in his presence is an act of worship.
Your story is not finished yet. If you are in a chapter that feels heavy, I hope today’s teaching reminds you that the author has not abandoned the plot.
