When life feels dark
Hi friend.
I wanted to write today about something most of us deal with but rarely name out loud. That season when everything feels dark. When you can’t see the way forward. When you’re running on fumes and wondering if anyone even notices.
I’ve just put together a new 7-day series called “Hidden Treasure in Hard Times,” and honestly, it’s one of the most personal things I’ve made. Each short devotional looks at what it means to find real hope when life feels heavy.
Here’s what struck me while writing it. Darkness doesn’t mean you’re lost. It doesn’t mean God has stopped caring. It doesn’t mean you’ve failed. Sometimes the hardest seasons turn out to be the very places where we grow the most.
Across the week, we look at feeling invisible, facing crisis, carrying pain, needing community, trusting without clarity, growing through struggle, and finally, seeing that God is present in every season - not just the bright ones.
Each video is about five minutes long. Something small for your morning coffee or your commute. But I hope it gives you something real to hold on to.
If today feels heavy, please know you’re not alone. And if you know someone walking through a dark season, maybe one of these will be just the thing to pass on.
