What to do when life squeezes you dry
Can I be honest with you for a moment?
Most of us are carrying more than we let on. There’s the pressure at work that never quite lets up. The health worry that sits quietly in the background. The relationship that’s fracturing, no matter how hard you try to hold it together. The grief that just won’t shift.
And underneath all of it, a question we’re almost afraid to ask out loud: Is this ever going to get better?
This week, I’ve been sitting with a phrase from the apostle Paul that has genuinely stopped me in my tracks. He wrote about being “pressed on every side by troubles - but not crushed.” He wasn’t pretending life was fine. He was being brutally honest about the pressure he was under. And yet he had found something that held him steady.
That’s what this week’s devotional series is all about.
Over seven short daily videos, we’re looking at what the Bible actually says to people who are struggling - not with neat, tidy answers, but with honest hope. We’ll think together about what it means when doors close unexpectedly, when our bodies let us down, when we feel weak and out of our depth, and when the pressure just won’t ease.
I believe these seven days might help you breathe a little more easily.
Even at the end of your rope, hope is still alive.
