What if generosity isn't about money at all?

When most of us hear the word “generous,” we immediately think about money. And if money is tight right now, we switch off before the conversation even starts.

I get it. I’ve been there.

But this week on Battle Drill Daily Devotional, I’ve been sitting with a different question: what if generosity is really about the posture of your heart - and that posture shows up in far more than your bank account?

Over seven short daily episodes, we’re looking at generosity through a completely different lens. We’ll meet a seamstress who turned her sewing skills into life-changing ministry. A farmer who gave way more than anyone expected - just because he could. A widow who gave away the last food she had and watched God do something extraordinary. And a father who ran - actually ran - before his son even finished his apology.

Each episode is around five minutes. Each one takes a single, honest look at what it means to live with open hands, an open home, and an open heart.

You don’t need to be wealthy to be generous. You don’t need to have everything sorted. You just need to be willing.
