Trading the Mirror for His Eyes
Friends.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? If you see a checklist of failures or a person who never measures up, I have good news for you today.
The voice that tells you that you are not doing enough is often a lie. Our enemy loves to weigh us down with guilt. But the gospel tells us that the mirror of performance was shattered at the cross.
Jesus does not see a performer. He sees a child who is already his. You are a saint who sometimes stumbles, but you are not defined by your mistakes.
In my latest video, we look at how to stop earning and start receiving. We explore the life of the Apostle Paul and how his identity was rewritten by grace.
May you find rest today knowing you are loved like crazy by the Father.
Grace and peace.
Rob
