Stepping off the Hamster Wheel
Do you ever feel like you are on probation with God?.
For a long time, I lived with a heavy weight on my shoulders. I thought my worth was tied to how well I performed as a Christian. If I had a “good” day, I felt okay. If I had a “bad” day, I felt unworthy of God’s love.
But then I found a single sentence that broke that myth:
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8 (NLT).
God did not wait for us to get our act together. He acted while we were still his enemies to make us his friends. Grace is not a prize for being good - it is a gift for the helpless.
In my latest video, I share how this truth can set you free from the fear of failure. You can watch it here:
Let’s stop trying to earn what has already been given. His grace is enough.
