For the faithful who are running on empty
There is a specific kind of tired that comes from doing the right thing. It’s the exhaustion that follows obedience - the “broom tree” moment that even the prophet Elijah experienced after his greatest victory.
In today’s video, we look at why the Bible doesn’t promise shortcuts, but it does promise strength. We often think faithfulness means never feeling empty, but true faithfulness is coming back to God empty-handed and allowing him to fill us again.
Key Takeaway: God renews in layers, not leaps. Sometimes you soar, sometimes you run, and sometimes you simply don’t faint. All three are a work of grace.
If you’re whispering a “yes” to God today because you’re too tired to shout it, know that your presence is enough. He is shouldering the load with you.
