Are you tired of being tired?
Dear friend,
Can I ask you something honest? When did you last feel genuinely rested?
Not “had a lie-in” rested. Not “scrolled through Netflix for three hours” rested. I mean the kind of rest where your soul feels settled - where you wake up and actually feel ready for the day ahead.
For most of us, that kind of rest is increasingly rare. We live at a pace that would have felt unsustainable to previous generations. Our phones follow us to bed. Our minds race through the night. Even our holidays leave us needing a holiday.
This week I’ve put together a seven-part devotional series on exactly this - and I want to be honest with you: it isn’t really about religious practice. It’s about something every human being longs for. Rest that goes deeper than sleep. Quieter than a spa day. More lasting than a fortnight in the sun.
At the heart of the series is a simple invitation: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
We work through what that looks like in the real world - when you’re burned out at work, overwhelmed at home, lost in the scroll, or just bone-tired in ways you can’t quite explain. Each video is around five minutes long, with one honest thought and one small, practical step you can take today.
If that sounds like something you need right now, the full series is waiting for you on YouTube. I’d love for you to join me.

You deserve more than survival. There’s a better kind of rest on offer.
With warmth,
Rob
